Our BCF Scholarships Program grants scholarships of $4,000 each to youth attending college or university in Canada and this annual raffle lottery raises funds to help underwrite these scholarships. We are hoping to raise net revenue of $14,100 to augment funds raised for the scholarships program through individual donations and sponsored scholarships.

This year’s raffle lottery will have all cash prizes, from the 1st prize of $3,000 to the 4th prize of $500. The ticket price is $20.00 each and a total of 1000 tickets have been printed. Ticket sales will close on April 16, 2021 and the draw will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Bring On The Spring Event 2021.

See the flyer for full details. We look forward to your support.

commercial oven donated to QEH
February 15, 2021

Last year we committed to a donation of Enteral Feeding Pumps to the QEH and held the spring online fundraising campaign to raise the funds needed to make this donation. However, the hospital informed us that the Feeding Pumps had been provided by another donor and requested that we donate the commercial convection oven needed by its Food Services Department instead. After purchasing a Royal Convection Oven at a cost of BBD$13,321, on Wednesday, December 9th we presented  this equipment to the hospital's dietician - Meshell Carrington, in a ceremony at which BCF was represented by Dr. Barbara Trieloff-Deane. The oven bears BCF's logo and an inscription noting that it was donated by Barbados Canada Foundation.  See the pictures below taken at the presentation ceremony.
