Working With The QEH To Improve Lives
April 15, 2023
Bring On The Spring 2023 was held on March 25th to raise $60,000 to purchase and donate 4 slit lamp microscopes to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados [QEH] for its Ophthalmology Department. We are pleased to report that following the event we received donations totalling $11,000 from three major donors, which together with several smaller donations totalling $2,000 increased the funds raised to $70,100.
If you attended the dinner, participated in the Zoom videoconference or made a donation to Bring On The Spring 2023, thank you! We would especially like to thank the Gloria Baylis Foundation, Delores Lawrence, Judy Thomas Fund, Mark Ward and Wellington Enterprises Inc. for their generous donations. Donors to the live auction, silent auction and door prizes, and table sponsors are too numerous to list, however we thank them all - please Click Here to review. Also, a big 'thank you' to our volunteers.
Posted below is the recording of the event which contains Prime Minister Mottley’s speech, as well as the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s video which we were unable to play at the event due to technical difficulties.
Whether you are a Barbadian or a friend of Barbados, your contributions to our donations of medical equipment to the QEH make a difference in the lives of relatives or friends in Barbados, and our scholarship grants help our youth ‘create their future’. Please Click Here to make a donation in support of our charitable causes.
