Bring On The Spring 2025: ‘Working To Make Lives Better’
January 26, 2025
Bring On The Spring 2025 will fund the purchase of 20 hospital beds costing CAD$79,000, for donation to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Barbados. The beds are an immediate need and their acquisition is an important part of the hospital’s efforts to improve patient care. To date we have donated medical equipment costing CAD$218,200 (BBD$320,000) to the QEH.
We are planning for Bring On The Spring 2025 to have some 700 in attendance and will provide guests with a 4-course dinner and live entertainment. In addition, there will be a Live Auction, Silent Auction and Raffle, with prizes that include a 7-night stay with breakfast at The Crane, and 5-7-night stays at other premium Barbados resort hotels, viz. Bougainvillea Barbados, Divi Southwinds Beach Resort, Hilton Barbados, Mango Bay, Rostrevor Hotel, Sea Breeze Beach House, Southern Palms Beach Club, The Sands and Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord's Castle. Door prizes will include an Air Canada return trip to Barbados.
Dr. Kenneth Connell, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies and President, Healthy Caribbean Coalition will be the Guest Speaker and will speak on the subject "Cardiovascular Disease and The Critical Role Of The Diaspora in Turning The Tide".

Visiting Barbados? Here is Where We Recommend That You Stay.

The Barbados resort hotels pictured below have donated to the Live and Silent Auctions and Raffle at Bring On The Spring for several years, making a significant contribution to the event’s success. These hotels have donated 5–7-night stays to Bring On the Spring 2025 and are truly valuable partners with BCF in our provision of life-saving equipment to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. We express our most sincere appreciation of their support and ask that you stay at one of these hotels when next you travel to Barbados, and that you encourage family, friends and acquaintances to join you in supporting these hotels. If you will be attending Bring On The Spring 2025, ensure that you bid on these prizes in the Live and Silent Auctions and that you buy raffle tickets. Click on each hotel's picture to link to its website. For air travel we recommend Marville Travel Ltd, also a valued supporter of Barbados Canada Foundation and Bring On The Spring.
